The Institute of Textiles and Clothing (ITC) of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University was established in 1977 from the former Department of Textiles of the Hong Kong Technical College with the support from the local industry. Its mission is to serve the Hong Kong community by providing quality education programs, research and consultancy related to fashion and textiles. Staff strength cover areas of fashion technology, fashion design, and fashion business.
Institute of Textiles and Clothing (ITC) and Lectra have built a solid relationship since 2002 and all workstations in ITC are equipped with Lectra’ latest solution: Modaris, Modaris Expert for pattern making, Diamino for maker making and Kaledo for design. The school has also decided to add 60 licenses of Modaris 3DFit for virtual prototyping.
Every year, more than 200 students are practicing with Lectra solution.
