This video presents the ESIV mini company project through interviews of the 1st year students who explain how they managed the project. The objective was to create and develop a mini collection following a theme proposed by the professors. To achieve this goal the whole group was organized like in a fashion company, and used Lectra solutions Kaledo, Modaris, Modaris 3D Fit, Diamino and Gallery to manage some creation, product development and production phases.

The Amsterdam fashion Institute and Lectra organized the first Modaris 3D Fit award. Each student (or group of two) had to present a mini-collection composed of a mood board, technical sketches of men’s wear or women’s wear, the related Modaris patterns, the related Modaris 3D Fit simulations, as well as the physical samples once both styles and patterns have been adjusted and approved.
The video shows the different steps, from 3D virtual prototype to the fashion show.

The Cholet Fashion High School is one of the main actors in the e-mode technological platform which has integrated Lectra fashion solutions - Modaris, Modaris 3D Fit, Diamino, ProSpin – to develop garments entirely by computer, from the designer's idea to the prototype. The video shows the whole process.
E-mode is part of a partnership program initiated by the French Ministry of Education and Research. Its main missions are to explore and develop new solutions in the realm of new digital technologies, dedicated to the fashion industry, to test them and to transmit this knowledge to fashion companies.
