Romans Cad Scanline is an additional 3D module for Romans Cad Last and Romans Cad Sole to copy style lines from virtually any 2D format into Romans Cad 3D. With an ergonomic Windows based interface using multi-windows projects, Romans Cad Scanline is used to save time by acquiring directly and easily the style lines from their original 2D sources instead of drawing them directly on the screen. This can be done by superimposing the sketch or the digital photo onto the virtual 3D last or by copying the original lines of from a plastic shell (or from lines drawn directly on the physical last) with a manual 3D digitizer such as Digiscribe. The Romans Cad Scanline module cannot work independently of Romans Cad Last and Romans Cad Design.
