Smart services at the heart of the system

The maintenance plan integrated into the cutter’s operating software enables it to assess and manage service requirements. Through the warning system, action can be taken even before failures occur, thus limiting the need for intervention by Lectra technicians and guaranteeing maximum availability of the cutting system.  Detailed error reports are systematically produced so that action can be taken on the exact cause of a malfunction directly or after transmission to the Call Center. By saving maintenance service history, efficiency can be improved following its analysis. Finally, system performance reports, generated by the operating software, provide real added value to the solution, giving decision makers all the tools they need to perfect plans for improving cutting room productivity.

A global approach

For Lectra, the sale of an automated cutting solution does not end with the delivery of a machine. The mission of the technical experts is to ensure perfect integration within the customer’s industrial environment—configuration, security testing, and connection to the computer system. Special training programs, supported within the Vector operating software, are offered in order to ensure that each user (operator, maintenance, or methods personnel) has the required level of knowledge. This training, which evolves based on the degree of involvement and autonomy of the user, is validated by Lectra to ensure the acquisition of technical knowledge.
