| Lectra, sponsor of the 27th IAF convention in Mexico Lectra is a member of the board of IAF and has been attending and sponsoring its events for the last ten years. This year, the company was represented by Alex Alvarez, sales manager and Violeta Lopez, marketing associate from Lectra Mexico.
The 27th International Apparel Federation annual conference took place jointly with the 35th national congress of the Mexican apparel association CANAIVE – Camara Nacional Industria Vestido – in Riviera Nayarit, Puerto Vallarta, in Mexico from October 13-16. Over two hundred manufacturers, retailers, suppliers and press from 30 countries attended this year’s convention. Forums and conferences were organized around the theme of “transformation of the fashion business”, focusing on topics such as creative styling, the impact of economic developments, social networks and virtual dressing.
The convention was a great opportunity for us to strengthen relationships with some of our customers, and present our fashion solutions.

| January 5, 2011: TEC Awards Fashion-Specific Certification to Lectra Fashion PLM Founded in 1993, TEC (Technology Evaluation Center) is today’s leading online technology research company. It helps organizations evaluate and select software solutions adapted to their needs by providing decision-makers with the tools, studies, and expert help required to make the best choice. During Lectra Fashion PLM’s certification process, TEC determined that Lectra’s PLM solution proved to be specially designed for and suited to managing product lifecycles, facilitating the collaboration necessary to companies in the fashion industry. Other more generalized PLM publishers and suppliers of transaction-based ERP solutions have tried to address the fashion market using products and systems designed for other sectors, like the automotive and aerospace industries. | November 9-10, 2010-Cologne, Germany - Lectra participated in Europe’s largest IT conference, the IMB Select 2010 This fall, Lectra participated in Europe’s largest IT conference, the IMB Select 2010—Fashion & Textiles: IT-Systems, Services and Strategies in Cologne, Germany on November 9 and 10. This year’s conference explored product developments for a post-crisis economy and the development of intelligent planning and information management along the supply chain. Lectra presented its added-value solutions Lectra Fashion PLM, Kaledo, and Optiplan, in addition to promoting its partnership with X-Rite. Lectra also gave presentations on production and design-specific topics from the textile and apparel industries in the IMB Select Forum & Speaker’s Corner.

| February 25, 2010 - Lectra Launches U.K. Student Competition, in Conjunction with Maria Grachvogel This competition, specifically for fashion students at Lectra’s 35 education partner schools in the U.K., is offering the lucky winner the chance of an 6-12-month internship in Maria Grachvogel’ s London studio. To enter, the student must create a womenswear garment—from design to finished product—using Lectra technologies at some stage in the project. Launched on February 1, the competition will close in May 2010. The initial selection will be made by course tutors and independent experts who will shortlist the most interesting projects. The finalists will attend an event in London and will be invited to present their design project to Maria Grachvogel, who will make the final decision.
