CHALLENGES

The primary function of this position is to develop with dynamism the sales of Lectra projects and
solutions to large accounts using various combinations of the Lectra’s very broad product and services
portfolio (PLM solutions, CAD/CAM products, training, consulting, services contracts…) especially in the
Fashion industry, while respecting the sales policy and rules.

The position also includes establishing account plans respecting Group requirements and in collaboration
with the Sales Director. This requires documenting potentials, contributing to the growth of the company and
the maintenance of Lectra’s market leading position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

On an on-going basis, the Account Manager is expected to:
- Achieve and exceed his objectives by applying the sales strategy of Lectra
- Aggressively develop the software business in the fashion industry mainly in the UK-Region by
increasing market share through constant pipeline build up:
- Manage the sales cycle of added value propositions (including professional services – training and
consulting – and recurrent maintenance contracts) from lead to close:
- Competition analysis & Benchmarking:
- Report regularly to the Sales Director the status of the business and the progress made on action plans
and initiatives
- Work closely with the different teams (Management, marketing, professional service) to build and
execute the Subsidiary strategy

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

- At least 5 years of experience in direct B2B sales of high value solutions, including a minimum
of two years selling software
- A proven track record of sales achievements and use of consultative selling methodology
- Proven success in large international account management
- Knowledge of the fashion manufacturing and retailing business will be appreciated
- Knowledge of Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Design (CAM )Software
and solutions will be appreciated
- Good command of basic computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Office) and CRM tool (Oracle,
- English is bilingual, and any other European language(s) appreciated but not
mandatory
