Consumables & Parts Sales Representative

Job description

The primary function of this position is to direct and co-ordinate the Customer Services business activities (Consumables & Parts) associated with the company’s products and services portfolio, and establish the strategy in compliance with Group requirements.

The main objectives will be to develop recurring revenues, to sell Consumables & Parts within XXXX and overachieving the budget, maximize our penetration, our service differentiation and the company image by ensuring a high standard of service.




  • Consumables & Parts (using Siebel, Oracle, Business Objects and other back-office tools)
    • Selling actively consumables & parts, making offers and follow up the actions
    • Analyze and report service sales activities for C&P business
    • Provide customer installed base and/or contract data to Service Management Team and Sales Team
    • Creating action plans for consumables & parts
    • Planning, implementation and follow up of marketing actions


  • Reporting and communication and administration


    • Sending reports and statistics on time to the Service Director
    • Provide regular reports to the local management and to the Group Headquarters
    • Report weekly on its activities (interventions, TOP, networks, training)
    • Finalizing of Hunting-lists
    • All necessary administrative tasks belonging to this position


  • Administration


    • Ordering consumables & parts and parts for the customers at plant in France
    • control of deliveries, coordination with our French and XXX Logistic Center
    • sending and invoicing the goods to the end user
    • stock management
    • contact person for internal and external questions/requests related to Consumables & Parts



  • Transportation and customs clearance


    • clearing of the goods for import
    • Organizing and preparing of the customs clearance incl. all required documentation (through customs broker) for import of the goods
    • Responsible for the process of entering the goods through customs clearance
    • Translation of all required documentation for customs’ needs
    • Arranging and controlling the delivery to the end-users




  • Experience in services and maintenance management
  • Experience in training, business-to-business consultative selling would be appreciated
  • 5 years experience in Sales and Acquisition
  • Must be computer literate: Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications (CRM Siebel) experience a plus; Business Objects report writing also a plus
  • Must have strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and handle several projects at once
  • Must be motivated and friendly
  • Must be a team player and successfully juggle and complete multiple priorities




  • Apprenticeship in business
  • Ideally completed by a diploma/qualification in Management/Administration
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Capability to analyze/describe a specific industry or service line: concepts, terminology, processes, core functions, best practices, etc.
