POSITION SUMMARY

The key mission of the Marketing Manager is to execute the approved marketing plan for ‘Northern Europe & UK’ that has been set to meet overall company objectives. The main goals are to increase awareness in the relevant industry, create a Lectra strategy-conform brand image, drive heavily Demand / Lead Generation and provide support to accelerate the Sales cycle. Through increased efficiency of Market development, sales and marketing activities, Marketing Manager is to support the acquisition of new customers and to increase the penetration of the existing customer base resulting in greater revenue for the company. He/she is accountable for analyzing the fashion market, defining the vision and the marketing plan on one hand. In addition, on the other side be responsible for the excellent operational execution of the fashion marketing plan and therefore the marketing performance. He / she understands the fashion market, customizes campaigns and activities given from Global Corporate Marketing and creates own activities & events according to the regions potential. This includes targeting and prospecting funnel activities in Marketing Communication, like media, brand, inbound and direct marketing (outbound).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Adapt the global Lectra marketing strategy to local markets for the segment in line with corporate and local objectives
  • Market intelligence – Market & Competition analyses
  • Creating the yearly marketing plan, monitor and execute it, adapt the plan regularly during the year
    • Solution launch (new software & hardware versions) – internal launch, external launch, hunting lists, monitoring
    • Driving and coordinating Lectra’s marketing campaigns, align with Sales activities to be efficient and to support Lectra’s growth ambition
    • Define and measure results against KPIs
  • Prospecting – research of new prospects according to new solution launches
  • Managing marketing communication activities for Lectra in alignment with Corporate Marketing, local Management, local Sales and Professional Service
  • Supporting pipeline analysis with sales teams in order to put in place marketing actions
  • Localization and publication of all corporate marketing material in line with marketing plan, along the funnel, buyer-journey oriented
  • Planning and implementing promotional campaign
  • Managing and improving lead generation campaigns, measuring results inbound and outbound
  • Managing and qualifying Leads
  • Defining, managing, and executing Events of own hosted events and 3rd party events
  • Responsibility for PR related activities
  • Develop success stories in the region for fashion & apparel
  • Managing agencies and partnerships and cooperation’s with Universities, Associations, and Federations
  • Managing the segment marketing budget
  • Work very closely with Lectra Headquarters for support and feedback – take advantage of best practices – world wide
  • Maintain effective internal communication to ensure that all relevant regional departments are kept informed of marketing objectives & activities

PROFILE

The ideal candidate:

  • Comes from a Fashion Textile industry and B2B background, with ideally an experience in Software or IT industry
  • Have an experience of 5 years minimum in leading marketing activities for an international company
  • Have a degree in Marketing, Communications or other related field from an accredited college or university
  • Have the ability to work both independently and as part of an integrated sales and corporate team
  • Have the flexibility to work with a very hands-on and operational approach but also at a more  strategic level
  • Is liable and experienced in planning and executing marketing plans
  • Is creative and innovative
  • Can work under time sensitive conditions and demonstrates strict adherence to timelines and budgets
  • Must have high propensity to learn
  • Can work with stakeholders in multiple countries and is a real team player
  • Has strong communication, presenting and networking skills
  • Has Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Knows Salesforce & Marketo
  • Can stand up and speak with authority at events
  • Is fluent in verbal and written English and Dutch

TRAVEL

The job is based in Belgium with 40% travel across Northern Europe and UK
