We’ve put together some commonly asked questions to give you more information about how Lectra will continue supporting its customers during the COVID-19 situation.

In the USA: Lectra Atlanta’s fully equipped fabric cutting room is available for cutting PPE. If your company would like to be a part of this initiative, our team is available to cut, bundle and package. Your company will be responsible for fabric, sewing and distribution.

In France: Lectra equipment and teams in the Bordeaux-Cestas technology center are ready and available to cut masks and scrubs if you provide the fabric. If you have any question, please

Contribute to the fight against COVID-19

Can Lectra provide our company with patterns for medical scrubs and medical masks ? 

In response to a request by the IFTH (Institut Français du Textile et de l'Habillement) and in connection with the mobilization of the CSF site (Comité Stratégique de la Filière Mode et Luxe), we have developed French Health Ministry-approved patterns and nestings for single-use scrubs and medical masks


Can Lectra teams help us adapt our equipment to reorient our production?

Yes, your local call center is available to help you calibrate your Lectra solution and adjust patterns so that you can take part in the effort to combat COVID-19.

The Vector Fashion iX series can produce up to 1000 masks/hour
Vector Fashion iX6 can produce up to 2500 masks/hour

Parts and equipment production and shipping

Is Lectra still producing equipment?

Yes, more than 80 dedicated factory staff are making every effort to continue the production of our solutions while strictly adhering to established safety measures related to COVID-19.

Will Lectra continue shipping parts, consumables and equipment during this time?

Yes, our production, shipping, and parts and consumables departments are doing their best to continue daily shipments in order to respond to customer demand.


Software use

Can I access my Lectra software from my home office?

Yes, most of Lectra’s software solutions are accessible remotely. Customers who would like to access their Lectra software from home should contact their local call center in order to set up their software access and verify the configuration for work-from-home usage.



Will Lectra continue to provide on-site training?

Even though we must cancel all in-person training sessions, we will continue to support our customers remotely. New online training sessions are being created that will help new users of Lectra software solutions get up and running quickly.


Will Lectra’s Call Center remain operational?

Our five call centers around the world are open during their regular hours to assist customers with any questions they may have regarding their Lectra solutions.  If, due to a high volume of calls, customers are unable to speak to a call center representative, they can also contact the call center via email.

Can I still receive on-site support?

For the safety of all, on-site support is currently unavailable in most countries. However, predictive maintenance functionalities built into our hardware solutions allow our technicians to troubleshoot and resolve remotely any issues or incidents that may arise so that your company can continue to function with minimum production disruptions.
