After nearly two decades of collaboration, Lectra and Caron Technology are taking a new step forward to offer a complete range of cutting room preparation systems. 

Following the favorable evolution of the wildfire situation in Gironde region and the gradual lifting of the restrictions announced today by the authorities, Lectra has resumed operations at its Bordeaux-Cestas site, which had been temporarily closed since July 27, 2026. No damage has been identified at the Group’s facilities, and operations are resuming under normal operating conditions.

As part of the preventive evacuation measures decided by the Gironde authorities in response to the ongoing fires in southwestern France, Lectra announces the temporary closure of its Bordeaux-Cestas site.

Lectra announced that Goodwill South Florida has implemented Valia Manufacturing, Lectra’s new cloud-based solution  to modernize and automate cutting room operations, marking a significant step forward in efficiency and operational performance that will yield nearly a 99% reduction in cutting room planning time.
