Upholstered furniture manufacturing accounts for more than one-third of the Polish furniture industry.
Production growth is decreasing yearly due to the sector’s concentration in Europe and a low growth rate in the EU economy. In addition, competitiveness is being impacted by rising production costs and difficulties finding new workers.
Finding new customers and markets will be the main growth driver. The second driving force will be the ability to adapt to one of two market trends: furniture personalization and rapid small-series production.
