Up-and-coming player on the competitive Indian children’s fashion market
In a mere three decades, India-based Peppermint Clothing has undergone a successful transformation from contract manufacturer to full-fledged fashion brand. Its clothing collections for girls 1 to 13 years old are distributed across India through multi-brand retailers, store-within-a-store arrangements, and e-commerce vendors. The company also has a network of four brand-operated boutiques, which it aims to expand in order to grow market share.
Replacement of outdated manual cutting methods to maximize productivity
The children’s clothing manufacturer produces 125,000 garments per month and employs more than 1,000 people. With plans to increase production and support brand growth, Peppermint Clothing needed to expand its fabric-cutting capacity and maximize productivity in the cutting room. This required replacing its manual cutting processes with automated spreading and cutting.
