Adrian Jules limited
Luxury customer clothier saves 75% in production time with innovative 3D technology.
The challenge
Adrian Jules Ltd, an established bespoke design house and tailoring outfit based in Rochester, NY, has transformed their 55-year-old business offering the finest hand-made garments in America through a deep and personal partnership with Gerber Technology, the industry leader in the apparel and textile technology space, by digitizing their entire process -- from design to cutting -- by integrating Gerber Technology’s AccuMark 3D & 2D CAD software, Gerber’s AccuMark&AccuNest, and the GerberZ1 for production-ready, made-to-measure garments.
Adrian Jules sought to become a tech-forward company, while still maintaining the core values put in place by its founder generations ago. This meant transforming 55 years of legacy craftsmanship by creating the perfect pairing of technology and tradition, while increasing production speed and maintaining the quality garments customers expect. In addition, as the pandemic caused a global shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE), Adrian Jules wanted to do their part to help stop the spread of COVID-19, which meant converting to mask and PPE production.
The solution
By effectively digitizing and connecting their entire supply chain, all the way from design, product development, and production, Gerber Technology’s end-to-end suite of products were perfectly tailored to suit the needs of the company, allowing Adrian Jules to save money, time, and the environment. Gerber’s end-to-end suite also allowed them to easily transition to producing masks and other PPEs in just a matter of days.
Alexa Roberti, Director of Sales, stated, “we are proponents of technology here at Adrian Jules, and we really see Gerber’s AccuMark 3D assisting not only in sustainability but giving us flexibility when we need to develop patterns.” Adrian Jules now attributes their success to being a tech-forward company, while still maintaining the core values put in place by its founder generations ago.
The benefits
Adrian Jules was able to maintain their objective of creating the finest handmade garment in America by partnering with Gerber. So far, the company has seen a:
- 10% savings in material utilization
